WELCOME TO PEARLAND !
The city of Pearland was born with a railroad that was chartered to run from Houston to Galveston in the mid 1850's. It is just 20 minutes south of Houston and 17 miles from the Texas Medical Center. The city got its name when fruit trees were planted to promote the town to prospective settlers. Today Pearland is the largest city in Brazoria County with a population of more than 90,000.
The city boasts of lots of "green" areas with hike and bike trails,
championship golf courses and nearby lakes. There are a multitude of attractions just a short drive in any direction.
